The purpose of this course is to impart some basic development economics knowledge for non-social scientists. It was developed by Dr. Tawanda Chingozha, development economist at the OAD.

The two-day workshop took place in Port Louis, Mauritius and brought together students, young professionals and industry representatives, experts and space agencies to engage and nurture the next generation’s perspective on space and scientific matters in the African region.

The international workshop on Space Education addressed by Ethiopian State Minister of Science & Technology marked the opening of the Space Awareness High Level Workshop. It brought together stakeholders for an engaged dialogue on using space topics for education and outreach in African countries in order to attract young people to science and technology.

Astrostays partners with local communities in remote areas with access to beautiful night skies to curate memorable star-gazing experiences for travelers in India. Astrostays' hope is that the program also helps to bridge the rural-urban divide by providing a stimulating setting to learn and grow and to change the perspective of visitors who will realize that we are all living under the same sky.
